Cut LOOSE!

Yesterday I saw Ashland's production of Footloose. I saw it last week as well, and it was awesome then. But much to my surprise, the show got astronomically better! I was amazed at the talent displayed. The show was casted wonderfully (it couldn't have been casted much better) and I got to see people that I miss a lot. My brother and my friend Madison and I had a great time. I'm so excited to see the show again! :)

Hunter Hayes!!!!!!

So on Thursday I went to the Hunter Hayes concert. He is one of the youngest up-and-coming country stars. He was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On top of being able to play over 30 instruments, he's quite attractive.

I went with my 4-H sisterhood. The concert itself was amazing, but the best part was afterward, when we actually got to meet Hunter Hayes. He was so nice about everything. I hope I can see him again!!!!!

Friday was my friend Kyle's sixteenth birthday. Happy birthday, bud!!

My friend Mara and I were looking at my blog yesterday... And I realized I haven't updated it for a while.

I'm pretty excited for this week, because I get to see my three favorite blonde boys!!! This Thursday, I get to go to the Hunter Hayes concert. I'm practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. For those who don't know, Hunter Hayes is a 20-year-old country singer who writes his own songs and plays every single instrument on his album-- that's talent. I'm so excited!!!! To make it better, I'm going to the concert with my four best girlfriends. I'm so excited!!!

This coming Saturday, I think I get to hang out with my friend James. We are going to see Footloose at Ashland, which I also saw last week. It was phenomenal!!! I'm so excited... Maybe moreso for this than for HH... Maybe.

And finally, I am going to the Footloose prom with Kyle next Saturday.

Mahtomedi's Got Talent!

Last Wednesday I performed at the MHS Talent show with Kate. It was wry fun, and we got many compliments on our performance!

I'm excited for Easter tomorrow. It always feels like a new beginning when He has risen!

Lucky for music, movies, and long walks in the park... And yo-yo tricks.

I've had an amazing last few days... Or like a week.

My sister's baby bunnies are getting cuter and cuter by the day.

I hung out with James on friday, when we went on a walk to watch the ducks that he finds super entertaining (?), he did some cool yo-yo tricks, and we watched the Dawn Treader (because Prince Caspian has mysteriously disappeared.). It was amazing, as usual.

The next night, I went to the 4-H dance. After the music arrived, it was amazing!!! I had a "date" (joke) with my friend Megan. I also got to know her brother, Mike, who is very hilarious.

Kate and I are in a talent show that performs tomorrow!!!! We're singing a song from Sideshow. I'm excited but super nervous too.

But the cool thing that happened today was competing at contest for high school bands, and both of our bands got a superior rating! It was fantastic. :)

Sweet sixteen say WHAT?!?!

Today was perty exciting.

Two of my best friends started dating. (everyone saw it coming.)

I went to DQ and ate a nummy blizzard.

And AIDAN TURNED 16!!!!! She is sooo amazing. I miss her lots. So Happy Birthday, my darling!!! I am no longer older. :)

Happy Hunger Games!

I saw the movie The Hunger Games last night, and I absolutely loved it!! The casting and cinematography was phenomenal. I loved it.

I got to see it with my friends Annie, Emily, and Peytie. I missed them a lot... It was so good to see them!!!!

Lucky to have Aidan!!!

Today is the last day of spring break :( I do not want to go back to school, since it is basically summer outside...

Oh well.

Last night, I saw my friend Aidan in a musical rendition of Narnia. She was the white witch and Amazing!!! I haven't seen her in months, and it was wonderful to give her a hug. I love her soooo much. :)

Lucky to live in Minnesota!!

Minneapolis/St. Paul is the third largest theater community in the united states ( after NYC and Chicago). Tonight, I got to see MN at its finest. I saw Memphis with my friend Elise. And we met a member of the original Broadway cast, who introduced us to the cast we saw!!!! It was amazing.

Lucky to have a Zoo!

Today I went to the zoo with two of my best friends, Nick and James. I absolutely love the zoo and hope to work there someday. The animals are amazing and the zoo is amazing. I say amazing too much... James also showed off his fantastic yo-yo skills. I had a ton of fun the first day of spring break.

I also had a great talk with a girl from my 4-H, Faith. She is incredible!! I hope she continues with 4-H for a long, long time.

Lucky to have Music

So... I realized it's march... Which means it's not Valentine month... So I'm starting lucky instead of <3...

Today was the last two performances for the Phantom Tollbooth. I have many good pictures of that, my favorite being the one of Milo (aka Jack) singing "Do I Dare?"

I also went to my friends' church choir perform tonight. It was amazing!!! Very amazing :)

I <3 the Lorax!!!

Today the Lorax movie opened. I saw it with some of the cast of the phantom tollbooth. It was so cute!!!!!!!!

Also, Jack, Emma, and I represented the Lion King. Holla.

I <3 my sister!!!

Tonight was the opening night for the phantom tollbooth. My little sister Emma debuted her acting/singing skills tonight as the major miner!!!! She is amazing :)

Also, my friend Maggie came to seethe show, and we were wearing the same shirt! It went so well :)

I <3 snow

Today, we had a snow day. I love snow, but I was very disappointed that today was the day we didn't have school. I felt kind of down all day, even though I don't know why. I hung out with three of my friends and that was pretty fun. Also, the snow was beautiful this morning.

This weekend, the middle school's musical opens!!! I love the cast so much... Jack is amazing as Milo!!!! And he has amazing shoes. Here are some pics.

I <3 Caribou

Today I went to Caribou to work on homework and got two surprises: my friend Jake was there and my friend Danny was working!! It was fun and I got my homework done.

Some more good news? My friend/ mentor/ role model Kayla got engaged!!! I'm so excited for her. She is an amazing person. Congrats, Kayla!

Also, my friend Kate had college auditions this week. Break a leg, Kate!!! She was amazing!

I <3 Skiing!!!

I <3 Ashland!!!!!!!!

Probably the best thing in my life this year has been a local theater company, Ashland. It is run by the most wonderful people in the world and the most wonderful people in the world are there. I have yet to meet a person that I do not like there. The support system is phenomenal and the shows are amazing!!!!!! Tonight, I had APC (show choir) and saw a rendition of Hansel and Gretel. I got to see my friends Christof, Devin, Angela, Elise, and Bri!!!!! Here's all of us ('cept Ang) after the show!!!

I <3 girlfriends!!!

On Monday, I got to go to lunch with three of my favorite people in the whole wide world: Angela, Peggy, and the amazing Kate. We all have had our challenges, but the support system that I have with them is one that I would be devastated if I lost it. I absolutely adore every one of them for different reasons: Angela is ever-caring and funny, Peggy has an incredible Faith that amazes me, and Kate is the role model that every person hopes they have; I'm just fortunate enough to know her so that I can look up to her. Peg is an awesome role model too, and I hope that I can be for Angela what Kate and Peggy are for me; and even though there will never be another Kate or Peg, I strive to be like them.
