Today was my School's one act play festival. I played Erika, a viking who thinks she can sing, but every time she tries, someone dies. It was very fun, but i'd have to say that my favorite play was Teenage Grandpa, a play about a grandpa who goes back to high school. My friend Nick was the grandson in the show.
This morning, I went to a planning meeting for Arts-In. I am a very active 4-Her, and arts-in, which is a performing arts program that I'm quite highly involved in. I got to see Kayla, who is probably my favorite person in the whole world. I've known her since I was about ten, when she was my camp counselor at 4-H camp. Now she is the choreographer for a theater company I have recently been involved in and directs the arts in shows. She is so inspirational and she helped me feel a lot better about an audition for a musical that I didn't get in. I love her so very much, and I am so fortunate that she is a part of my life.
